Cost of Living:
Shops & Banks:
The student nights at the on-campus LCR's are relatively cheap, easy to get to, safe, fun and the place to meet your friends twice a week. There are some lovely bars and pubs around the city and a lot to do.
My subjects were interesting, well taught, manageable and fun. The staff were all very approachable and nice. The library is well stocked. It can be hard to navigate but the staff are extremely helpful.
The campus is beautiful and the first year accommodation is first class. Living out is easy and fun, generally a half an hour walk from campus or a 7-10 minute bus ride. (Although the buses are expensive and unreliable).
There are so many clubs and societies to join. Most of them are well organised and a great way to meet new people. On campus there are two banks (Barclays and Natwest.) There is a Waterstones, a post office, a general store, a doctors' surgery, a Boot's pharmacy, two launderettes, a paper shop, a sandwich bar, a chaplaincy, a cafe and cafeteria.
The campus is built on a golf course so, despite the concrete buildings, the area is beautiful with many rabbits!
An incredible university, I hate the fact that I have to leave!
