I will be qualifying in February. Overall I have had a fantastic time here. I feel prepared for my future career and cannot think of a better place to have studied. The course was fantastic and lecturers were full of support for students. Brilliant!
The highlights were Anne Fergusons' and Ann Kettyle's modules in year two semesters one and two and they really do stand you in a good stead for our future careers, these two women are so knowledgable and really do make the course. We had a range of examinations both written and clinical (OSCEs and Snapshots) and although we hated them at the end they really do teach you do much about your own practice. We also had essays which were not that hard as long as you followed the wise words of the module leaders.
Clinical placements were absolutely brilliant and very enjoyable, on each placement you have a mentor, a lot of whom have done their mentorship courses at Kingston too. They were nearly all amazing mentors.
In years one and two we did two 7 week placements in each year and in year 3, two fifteen week placements. I have enjoyed it so much and wish I could stay!!! Choose Kingston!
