The University of Lincoln may not have the best lecturers, but the facilities are modern and accessible. The library is equipped with three floors of computers, books and journals. Some copies of books are available online and requests for books can be made via e-mail. Inter-library loans are available and the university organises trips to the British Library for those who wish to go. Lecture notes are put on an electronic source that is accessible on and off campus.

The City of Lincoln is very student orientated making every night a night out! There are many clubs, that have different nights for different types of music. Some nights are 'quids in' nights, meaning that everything costs £1 for that night. There are some new themes happening such as 'toss up', which a few clubs do on certain nights whereby you toss a coin and call heads or tails, if you win you get one free round!

The Engine Shed is the Students' Union club, which has a capacity of over 1000! Drinks are cheap and Wednesday nights are themed student nights with competitions for wine bottles or champagne or just a chance to get on stage and do something stupid in front of your fellow students, such as competing to see which couple can demonstrate the most amount of sexual positions whilst on stage in nothing but their underwear!

Everything is within walking distance, so we never spend any money on travel, unless someone becomes incapable of walking :P. There is a lot of student accommodation available for any year students, and all within walking distance of the main teaching buildings. First years get priority to live in the Student Village, which is not the nicest of places to live, but it's not a scummy place either. It's a great place to meet new people and have snow ball fights during the winter! There are other nice options for accommodation that may cost more but provide all the conveniences required.

Although Lincoln Uni is not renowned for its sporting abilities, there is a wide variety from hockey and football, to cheerleading and American football, and once a year there are a series of sporting competitions versus Derby (which we tend to win!).

Lincoln Uni provides good fun and good memories, with many easy ways for people to get to know one another, and although the lectures may not be of a high standard the many resources provided by the university make up for it. All in all a great place to go for a memorable experience!!
